The always lovely Camp 3 at 23,500 feet on the Lhotse Face of Mt. Everest. Luis Benitez attempts some pose in the back with his shovel. Pumori is wrapped in clouds in distance and Cho Oyu is always somewhere out there.

We finally found a place to stay way down the river. These were actually designated camp sites, so we knew we were close to the boat launch where we were going to get out.
Check out my tent! It almost looks like it has poles in it. On the last night I finally figured out how to string it up nicely. This spot was also flat. I could have stayed here a few days.
