The 6th of May was a Perigee Moon, meaning it was damn bright. Despite this, there were still lots of stars out so we went on a little camping trip to exploit the fact. (I use the term “camping trip” rather loosely here. While we did pitch a tent and stay overnight, it’s barely on the outskirts of the Sydney suburbs. I’m told the correct term is “glamping”.)
Our camp site here is lit purely by the moon. It was a beautiful night. This was actually meant to be one a series of stacked images for a star trail but sadly, I didn’t take lens fog into account.
