i stopped by the park on my way across the country. being fortunate enough to have a friend living nearby i was able to go into zion every day for four days in a row and hike around to my heart’s content. this is one of the rare times when, on an overcast day, the sun beams reach down through a hole in the thick clouds and light up spots on the valley floor.
